Elizabeth Killeen represents clients in all areas of family law, including litigation and mediation, as well as the negotiation and drafting of Separation, Prenuptial and Postnuptial Agreements. She is a certified, trained mediator who has mediated contested custody, support and complex asset division cases. She has also been appointed as and served as an arbitrator. Ms. Killeen has extensive litigation/trial experience and handles a variety of cases involving complex and diverse issues.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Killeen was a partner at Atwood & Cherny, P.C., where she practiced for over eight years. Her practice was concentrated in the area of high net worth domestic relations matters and complicated custody litigation.
In both 2018 and 2019, she was selected into the Best Lawyers in America for family law. In addition, she has been designated in the Law & Politics Boston Magazine's listing of "Rising Stars" in the field of family law. Ms. Killeen was also recognized in multiple issues of Boston Magazine, which contains a special section recognizing the top women attorneys in Massachusetts. The section is devoted to female attorneys from the Massachusetts Super Lawyers and Rising Stars list. She has lectured on family law issues, most notably for MCLE.
Ms. Killeen is a 1996 graduate of Villanova University, Villanova, PA (B.A., 1996) and received her law degree from Suffolk University Law School, Boston, MA (J.D. cum laude 1999). Ms. Killeen is licensed to practice law in Massachusetts, as well as the United States District Court. She is an active member of the Massachusetts Council on Family Mediation (MCFM), the Massachusetts Family & Probate American Inn of Court and the Greater Boston Family Law Inn of Court.
